Irrigation Micro Spray

If you're concerned about water conservation, explore the use of drip irrigation.
We live in a time old method of watering your plants in a coherent, uniform and effortless. This technique, also known as drip irrigation drop, has evolved over the years to become one of the most important methods of modern agriculture. This system minimizes the use of water by letting water drip slowly directly on the soil surface or directly on the root zone, in turn reduces water loss due to evaporation and runoff. Using a network of pipes, valves, tubing, and emitters not only flexible, but can be installed and adjusted easily by a gardener. Raised beds, planters and hanging baskets can all be irrigated using a drip irrigation system.
A typical system includes following, listed in order from water source:
* Source of pressurized water or pump.
* Water filter. This may not be necessary if you use the municipal water supply.
* Injection System fertilization (optional). This will add liquid nutrients directly into your system drop by drop.
* Anti-anti-refoulement prevents water flow into your home network for drinking water. (May be required by local building code)
* 25 PSI Regulator pressure.
* Main supply pipe and fittings, usually a half-inch polyethylene pipe.
* Valves and controls of these may be manually or electronically controlled, electronic controls have the advantage of a timing device.
* A quarter inch polyethylene tubing, which is used to distribute water to half-inch piping for the plant, known one side.
* Transmitters, they may be emitters, the heads of micro-spray emitters online or net rings
* Connectors, in-line valves and manifolds. Collectors to distribute water to the side.
* Clips or clamps for holding the hose in place.
The Kits can be purchased at your garden center or you can create your own system from a combination of kits and parts purchased. Starting a plan on paper to determine the most effective configuration for your garden and how much tubing and how many transmitters will be necessary for complete coverage. Most manufacturers provide planning guides walk you through this process. A system for a garden medium can generally be installed in less than a day and is very simple.
The peace of mind knowing that your plants are being systematically sprayed by using a timer is invaluable.
