Anti Siphon Frost
Is an anti-siphon frost proof sillcock not a good way to go continuously from the pipes burst?
I asked a week ago on my pipes break between my stopcock and my outside faucet. I'm gonna get started on this tomorrow, I picked up an anti-siphon frost free sillcock. I think to take it back because I was told that all "anti-siphon device would not allow me to get good drainage in winter, when I close the valve on the inside cut.
I would return the valve seat and just buy a jelly free features. I would like to buy an anti-siphon adapter that is threaded on the end on the edge son cock before threading on the pipe. Which are intended to modernize an existing sill cock to comply with new building codes require backflow prevention. Then in winter, use Simply unscrew the anti siphon device when you're done with the pipe to enable it to fully empty, therefore maintaining the function of the cock frost free edge.
