Coping with an earache may be very painful, especially when it affects a baby or small child. Get natural sweet oil and cotton balls. Drop a large amount of oil sweet to the ear. To ensure that oil remains in the ear to relieve pain, gently but firmly place a cotton ball inside the ear. The afflicted person should lie on the side opposite the affected ear for best results.

In boiling water, 1 to 2 teaspoons of chamomile flowers steep for 10 to 15 minutes. Strain water and place the flowers in a warm cloth and place them on the ear. This is an excellent home remedy for earache.
Tea Tree Oil - You need to use oil, tea tree and warm olive oil. Take five to ten drops of tree oil tea in a tablespoon of olive oil and mix. Use a dropper to put 2 to 3 drops in the affected ear twice per day.
Extract of grapefruit seed (GSE) - Purchase of grapefruit seed extract in liquid form. Put 3-5 drops of GSE in 1 ounce of glycerin or alcohol or both and mix well. Put 1-2 drops in affected ear 1-2 times daily. Absolutely do not use GSE full power in the ears for it is too strong.
Put a few seeds of fenugreek in any type of oil, mustard and linseed oils are the finest. Then warm this to some measure. After that, cool and filter the oil and put in each ear. Approximately four to five drops of oil in each ear helps to remove completely pain.
Another fine home remedy for earache is to put a few drops of hydrogen peroxide in the ear pain.
Eat up. Milk can cause irritation of the Eustachian tube in the inner ear in the supine position. This can cause infections ear more severe. When the child has a cold or flu, try to eliminate all dairy products (provided you have stopped breastfeeding). If the baby is on formula and your caregiver health approves switch to soy formula for 10-15 days, the child is sick to reduce mucus production. Dairy products increases mucus in the system and bacteria grow more strongly when mucus is present.
